Good American is running a Friends & Family Sale that takes 30% off sitewide, applied with the 30% off promo code at the top of this page. That code is best if you are buying full price items or a mixed cart that is not covered by a sale that forbids combination. If you are buying marked down items that are part of the sale, the marked down pricing plus the extra markdown deals can save more.
Small carts under typical entry prices, If you are buying a single lower priced item from the Best Sellers from $58 selection or a basic under $100, use the 30% off promo code. For a $150 full price order, for example, the 30% off code takes 30% off, bringing $150 down to $105, so you save $45. The free shipping threshold of $125 may also apply to that order if you want to avoid shipping charges; free shipping is on orders over $125.
Buying marked down items, If the items you want are in the sale, the up to 80% off markdowns and the Up to 80% Off + Extra 30% Off Markdowns offer are the better choice. The combined markdown plus extra 30% on those sale styles is applied automatically in cart but cannot be combined with other offers. For a $200 original price item marked down 60% then eligible for the extra 30% off markdowns, the price goes from $200 to $80 (60% off), then a further 30% off gives $56, so you save $144 on that item.
When jeans or new arrivals matter, If you are buying jeans starting from $98 or new arrivals under $298 at marked prices, the sitewide 30% code will reduce those listed prices unless the item is flagged as part of a sale that states the sale cannot be combined. For an item listed at $98, the 30% code reduces it to $68.60, so you save $29.40.
Free shipping and order size, Orders over $125 get free shipping. If your cart is just under $125, adding a low cost full price item and using the 30% code can both lower your total and push you past the free shipping threshold; the threshold is stated as $125.
Choose the option that leaves you with the lower total. Use the 30% off promo code at the top of this page for full price buys and mixed carts when sale rules would block combining. Use the sale markdown offers when the exact items you want are on one of the markdown promotions, and rely on the sale that includes the extra 30% on markdowns when that combination is available, since it cannot be combined with other offers.
