Dunkin' Halloween Drinks Ranked By Value

A table showcasing Dunkin' Halloween drinks ranked by value

#1 Nutty Nightmare Iced Coffee | avg $4.14 | 24 oz | 17.2¢ per ounce

Verdict: The cheapest drink on the menu at all five locations and the only one that came in under $5 everywhere.

#2 Midnight Potion Refresher | avg $4.61 | 24 oz | 19.2¢ per ounce

Verdict: The cheapest Refresher and the second-best value overall, at under $5 at every location we checked.

#3 Green Apple Dunkin’ Zero | avg $4.92 | 24 oz | 20.5¢ per ounce

Verdict: The best value in the Zero lineup and a solid pick if you want to skip the sugar.

#4 Werewolf Punch Refresher | avg $5.15 | 24 oz | 21.5¢ per ounce

Verdict: A bigger fruit mix for about 54 cents more than the Midnight Potion Refresher, which makes it a fair mid-priced pick.

#5 (tie) Midnight Apple Dunkin’ Zero | avg $5.32 | 24 oz | 22.2¢ per ounce

Verdict: At four out of five locations, this drink cost the same as the plain Green Apple version, but one store charged $2 more so check the price before you add the flavor.

#5 (tie) Candy Kiss Dunkin’ Zero | avg $5.32 | 24 oz | 22.2¢ per ounce

Verdict: Same price as the other flavored Zeros, so pick it for the candy-like mango flavor, not the savings.

#5 (tie) Orchard Twist Dunkin’ Zero | avg $5.32 | 24 oz | 22.2¢ per ounce

Verdict: A tie on value with the other flavored Zeros, so let your taste buds decide.

#8 Dark Spell Daydream Refresher | avg $5.65 | 24 oz | 23.6¢ per ounce

Verdict: It costs $1 more than the Midnight Potion Refresher, meaning you’re paying for the oat milk and cold foam.

#9 Creepy Crawler Coffee Chiller | avg $6.08 | 24 oz | 25.4¢ per ounce

Verdict: Dessert in a cup and on average it costs less than the Terror-misu Cloud Latte and the Franki Matcha.

#10 Sour Apple Energy | avg $6.18 | 24 oz | 25.7¢ per ounce

Verdict: About $1.26 more than the plain Green Apple Dunkin’ Zero and it had the biggest price swing of any drink (from $4.95 to $7.88 depending on the store).

#11 Terror-misu Cloud Latte | avg $6.36 | 24 oz | 26.5¢ per ounce

Verdict: The priciest coffee-based drink on the Dunkin' Donuts Halloween menu, so it’s one for tiramisu fans only.

#12 Franki Matcha | avg $6.82 | 24 oz | 28.4¢ per ounce

Verdict: The most expensive drink at all five locations, topping out at $8.28 at one store, which makes it the weakest value on the Halloween menu.

How We Ranked The Dunkin’ Halloween Drinks

We checked the prices for all 12 Halloween drinks at 5 Dunkin locations in New York State on October 1. We used a 24 oz size for every drink, averaged the five prices and divided by the ounces to get a cost per ounce.

Note: Prices vary by location, so use this as a guide rather than a guarantee!

How to Save on Dunkin' Halloween Drinks

Knowing which drink gives you the best value for money is only half the battle. Here’s how to keep the total down on the rest.

  1. Order ahead on Mondays: Dunkin’ Rewards members earn 4x bonus points on all beverages when ordering ahead in the app on Mondays through October 26. Just remember that it’s only valid at participating stores!
  2. Mark your Rewards calendar: From October 31, Boosted Status members earn 100 bonus points when ordering after 1pm. On October 16, Rewards members earn 3x points on any food purchase. On October 30 and 31, they earn 3x points on half-dozen and dozen donuts and 25- or 50-count MUNCHKINS Donut Hole Treats.
  3. Pair your drink with the $6 Meal Deal: A bacon, egg & cheese sandwich, hash browns and a medium hot or iced coffee for $6 can be a great deal if you’re hungry too. However, Dunkin’ notes no substitutions in their Halloween menu reveal, meaning they won’t swap in a Halloween specialty drink.
  4. Try a DIY dupe: If you’re a daily drinker, recreating a favorite like Nutty Nightmare Iced Coffee at home (cold brew, cream, tiramisu and toasted almond syrups) can cost a lot less than buying it every day.

Don’t just look at the price of the cup. Look at what you’re getting per sip, then stack your savings.

Dunkin’ Delivery vs In-Store Prices

Ordering Dunkin’ Halloween drinks for delivery? Be sure to compare your final checkout total with the in-store price before placing that order. Delivery fees and menu markups can make any cheap drink much more expensive. If you’re ordering through Uber Eats or DoorDash, look for a coupon before settling the bill.

What’s Coming Next on the Dunkin' Donuts Halloween Menu?
