The Children's Place currently has the clearance code at the top of this page: an extra 20% off selected clearance products when you enter the promo code at checkout. That code is best for you if you are buying marked clearance items that the code still applies to and you are not planning to combine other codes. It takes 20% off the already reduced price shown on the product page for eligible clearance items.
Big carts of full price or mixed items. If most items in your cart are not already in clearance and you want an across the board discount on eligible clearance pieces, use the extra 20% off promo code above on those eligible items. If many items are in the sitewide 60% off or 70% off events, compare the marked sale price to the price after the 20% code; the automatic 60% or 70% reductions will usually give a lower total for items already marked down.
Shopping mainly clearance or sale styles. When your picks are in the clearance range, check whether the product page shows the extra 20% applied automatically once you add the item or whether you must enter the clearance code at checkout. For items in the Halloween events or the up to 80% clearance, the automatic sale price will often beat a separate 20% reduction on a higher marked price.
Accessory shoppers and BOGO. If you are buying accessories, the Buy 1 Accessory Get Another Free code is useful when it applies to the styles you want. That offer gives one free accessory per qualifying accessory bought and may give a bigger saving than a percent off if both items are similar price.
App buyers and in app savings. If you are checking out in the brand app, the extra 10% off in app purchase applies only in app. Use that promo when your device checkout is available and it gives a clearer saving than any sale price on the same items.
Orders over $50. There are two offers that cut $10 off orders over $50 when you add a gift card, and two separate 10% off orders over $50 sales. For carts just above $50, work out which produces the lower final total: $10 off or 10% off. For example, on a $55 purchase, $10 off lowers your total more than 10% off; on a $120 purchase, 10% off saves $12, which is better.
Our records show 285 The Children's Place offers listed in the 12 months to October 2026, including 94 codes. Percentage codes numbered 70 in that window; the biggest was 70% off and the typical percent code was 30% off. Our team ran 87 checkout tests across offers in the 12 months to October 2026, with 41 screenshot results kept as proof.
To choose between options that apply to the same cart, compare the final totals and take whichever leaves the lower amount. Note the extra 20% off clearance code cannot be used with any other codes or offers, so do not try to stack it with another promo at checkout.
