Why is my linked account not showing up for Round-Ups?
Your Financial Institution may temporarily prevent Acorns from monitoring some or all of the sub-accounts connected to your online banking. If you’re linking your account and are unable to view the sub-accounts associated with your financial institution, please proceed with the following steps: Please allow your financial institution up to 72 hours to begin populating these sub-accounts. Although these accounts may not show up immediately, your bank will likely authenticate the connection and grant Acorns the ability to monitor your transactions for Round-Ups.
How can I add my bank if it is not listed for Round-Ups?
Please note that your bank’s listed name may vary from what you are entering into the search field. To manually add your account by using your routing number and account number, simply login to your account and complete the following steps:
For Mobile:
* Tap the menu (avatar) in the upper left corner of the screen
* Tap “Settings”
* Tap “Linked Accounts” and tap “Change primary account”
* In the search bar type “123” and tap the “Don’t see your bank” Link with routing & account number instead
* Enter your bank Routing Number and Account Number and tap “Link Account”
For Web:
* Click on the menu (avatar) in the upper right corner of the screen
* Click on “Profile & Settings”
* Click on “Linked Accounts”
* Click on “Change primary” and click on “Link Manually”
* Enter your bank Routing Number and Account Number and click on “Link Account”
How do I turn off Round-Ups?
* After logging in to your account, click the “Invest for your future”
* Click on “Round-Ups Settings”
* Toggle off “Set to automatic”
How will I know if my Round-Ups are invested?
Just look for the Acorns logo next to your transaction. To see your Round-Up transactions, follow the steps below:
* After logging in to your account, tap or click on “Invest for your future”
* Tap or click on “Round-Ups”
* Any transactions with the Acorns logo have been invested
Why am I receiving an Invalid Login Credentials Error?
If you’re receiving an error message indicating Invalid Login Credentials, follow these steps:
* To ensure the correct credentials are being used, please log in to your online banking.
* Verify you are entering the correct credentials that your financial institution is requesting you to provide. (Password, PIN, Access Code, etc.)
* Attempt to link to a different banking web portal, if possible. There are many banks throughout the US that may be listed under the same name. It’s possible that you may be attempting to link to a completely separate institution that happens to share the same name as your bank.
