Family Tree DNA accepts VISA, Mastercard, Amex and Discover Card.

If you have already purchased a DNA kit and submitted a sample, there is no need to order a new kit they will use your existing DNA sample that is stored in their lab for any additional test(s) that you order. In the rare instance that there is no further DNA available for testing on your existing samples, they will send an additional collection kit, associated with your original kit, to you at no charge.

Kits shipped between the U.S. and Canada typically arrive between 5–7 business days. International orders may take 3–5 business weeks.

You must notify them within 60 days of your order that you no longer wish to use FamilyTreeDNA's products and services.

If a test is ordered as an upgrade or add on to an existing kit, Family Tree DNA will issue a refund minus a 5% fee if your request is submitted prior to the lab processing your sample. If your request is submitted after processing has begun, your refund request will be denied. All requests must be made within 24 hours of placing the order.

All refunds will be given to the original credit card on which the purchase was made. Please allow thirty (30) days for the refund to reach you or be credited back to your account.
