Best GoingGear Coupon Codes

The main GoingGear offer on this page is the 5% off promo code, shown at the top of the page. That code takes 5% off your whole order and is best for small mixed baskets where no bigger category sale applies. If you are buying specific items that are already in a sale, consider the sale prices below as they can save more than 5%.

Under $60 or low spend first order If your cart is under $60 you will not qualify for free shipping, so the 5% off code is the simplest way to save on the subtotal. If you are a first time shopper and prefer offers by email, the newsletter signup is a separate option to get special promotions, but it is not the main offer here and does not replace the 5% code for an immediate discount.

$60 to $98.99 Free shipping becomes available at $60 via the free shipping on orders over $60 deal. For a cart in this range the 5% off code plus the free shipping threshold at $60 can work together only if your order reaches $60 before shipping is calculated. Use the 5% off code to reduce the item total, and you still benefit from the $60 free shipping threshold if your pre shipping total is $60 or more.

$99 and up If your order is $99 or more you can use the free shipping on orders over $99 deal instead of the $60 threshold. Both shipping offers list a threshold only; they do not state whether the code affects the threshold calculation, so assume the threshold is measured on the cart total before applying the code unless the site states otherwise. The 5% code still reduces your subtotal and will usually save money on top of free shipping when you meet the threshold.

Buying batteries Selected batteries are on sale for up to 61% off. These discounts are item specific and shown as sale prices on the product pages. If you are buying batteries that are part of that sale, the sale price will usually beat the 5% code. For example, a battery listed at $100 with a 61% reduction becomes $39, a saving of $61 compared with the original price. Use the sale price on those items and apply the 5% code only if the site allows stacking; the terms say the battery discounts are selected products available at sale prices.

Buying a survival knife Survival knives are 30% off across the category. If a knife you want is $120, the 30% off gives $36 off, leaving $84, versus 5% off which would save $6 and leave $114. In that case the category sale gives the bigger saving on the knife itself.

New arrivals under $249.95 If you are buying a new arrival priced below $249.95 that is simply a price filter rather than a discount. Combine the 5% code only if site rules permit.

When to choose what: compare the immediate totals. For mixed carts with no items in the battery sale or knife sale, use the 5% off promo at the top of the page. For carts that include sale batteries or survival knives, use the published sale price for those items because the 61% and 30% reductions shown on product pages give larger savings on those items than a 5% order discount. Take whichever option leaves the lower total. If a term says a sale price cannot be combined with a promo code, follow that rule; otherwise apply the code only after confirming the cart total and thresholds for free shipping.
