The up to 45% off on selected workshop products is best if you are buying studio or hobby items from the workshop range that appear in the sale. Bundles showing up to 11% off are a secondary option and work best when you buy multiple sale items packaged together.
Small single item purchase (under $50): If the item you want is marked in the workshop sale, the up to 45% off workshop products will usually save you the most. For example, on a $40 workshop kit that is 45% off, you pay $22.00 after the discount, so you save $18.00 (original $40.00, percent 45%, final $22.00, saving $18.00). If the same item is sold only as part of a bundle and the bundle discount is 11% off the bundle total, the workshop sale price will still be lower in most cases.
Medium orders ($50 to $200): Check whether each product is participating in the workshop sale. If all items are eligible for the up to 45% workshop discount, apply that sale price to each item. If you are buying a preassembled bundle that is flagged as a bundle sale, the bundle price takes up to 11% off the bundle total and may be simpler, but it gives a smaller percentage saving. For example, on a $150 bundle at 11% off you pay $133.50, saving $16.50 (original $150.00, percent 11%, final $133.50, saving $16.50).
Large orders (over $200) or multiple items: If many of your items are in the workshop sale, the cumulative 45% off those items will generally beat the 11% bundle discount on an equivalent total, because 45% off each eligible item reduces the cart more than 11% off the bundled price. If only a few items are in the workshop sale and the rest are not, compare the total using workshop sale prices where they apply against the bundled price which may include different items.
Buying bundles: Use the up to 11% off bundles only when the bundle price already matches the mix of items you want and those items are marked as sale items. The bundle discount is a percentage off the bundle total and gives larger absolute savings for larger bundle packs, but it never exceeds the workshop sale percentage on workshop items.
Newsletter signup and first time offers: Signing up to the newsletter is listed as a way to get special offers and promotions. If you are a first time customer and expect an email-only offer, signing up may be worth it for future savings, but the newsletter is not the page lead and does not replace the current sale prices.
