Here are some great tips & tricks for extra savings at Mustang Survival:
To clean your PFD, hand wash or sponge down in warm, soapy water, taking care not to submerge if it is an inflatable. Rinse your PFD with clean water and hang it to dry on a plastic coat hanger. Do not dry clean, use chlorine bleach, or apply direct heat. Always store your fully dried PFD in a warm, dry, well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight.
Any of Mustang Survival’s foam flotation products can be rinsed and submerged without issue at any time during the cleaning process. To clean your flotation gear, hand wash or sponge down in warm, soapy water. Rinse with clean water and hang to dry on a plastic coat hanger. Do not dry clean, use chlorine bleach, or apply direct heat. Always store your flotation gear in a warm, dry, well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight.
Hot machine laundering settings can cause the tapes and heat transfers around the garment to become loose or peel off. To clean your dry wear, hand wash or sponge down in warm, soapy water; do not use harsh cleaning agents. Do not dry clean, use chlorine bleach, or apply direct heat as these can cause issues with the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) on the fabric, which is what provides the water repellence.

No, unfortunately Mustang Survival only ships to Canada and the US at the moment.
There is a difference between a life jacket and a PFD (personal flotation device). A PFD is designed for constant wear where comfort and flotation are the critical issues. A PFD will float you, but not self-right you (turn you over in the water).
A life jacket will turn your face up in the water, but the foam-filled varieties are bulky and less comfortable to wear. Typically, life jackets are horseshoe-shaped in design and slip over your head with all of the flotations in the front of your body up around your neck.
Unfortunately, Mustang Survival does not offer tax exemptions for online purchases.
Automatic Inflatable PFDs by Mustang Survival are designed so that they have to be immersed in water before the inflation mechanism can be set off. The device may accidentally inflate if the inflator is exposed directly to water.
To safely dispose of the CO2 cylinders, you must ensure that the head of the cylinder has been pierced. Following this, the cylinder can be disposed of. Alternatively, the CO2 cylinders are 100% steel and can be recycled- should a recycling program be available.
No, they will not. Different inflatable life jackets can provide varying amounts of buoyancy. For example, an AirForce™ inflatable life jacket with 35lbs of buoyancy requires a 33gm CO2 cylinder to fully inflate it. Other models that offer 22lbs would require a smaller size cylinder.
At this stage, Mustang Survival does not offer student discounts but be sure to check Love Coupons for other discounts and offers.

Mustang Survival's outlet sale, with up to 60% off season's flotation and apparel, is the strongest discount available on the page and is worth checking first if the items you want are part of the outlet selection. A separate summer promotion adds 30% off a second item from a special collection, and free shipping kicks in on orders over $199, so your best saving depends on what you are buying and how much you spend.
High value flotation and apparel in the outlet: The outlet sale cuts up to 60% off marked prices on qualifying flotation and apparel, making it the biggest percentage reduction on offer. If a $300 flotation item is included in the outlet selection, the 60% discount brings it down to $120, saving you $180. This beats any other option for items that fall within the sale's scope, so always check whether your choice is in the outlet first.
Smaller purchases and non outlet items: For items outside the outlet selection or orders under $199, look at the listed price ranges. Mustang Survival offers gear from $32, headwear starting at $29.99, and gift cards from $25. These are simple marked prices with no code needed, so you pay what is shown. If the outlet does not include your item but a similar piece is available in one of these ranges, the listed price is what you get. A $60 item at the marked price with no additional discount applied costs $60 at checkout.
Orders over $199 without outlet items: Free shipping applies to orders over $199, which removes delivery cost on non outlet purchases. If your cart reaches $199 and the items you want are not in the outlet selection, free shipping lowers your total checkout amount by avoiding a shipping fee. A $210 order of regular priced items gets free delivery, though the product prices themselves do not drop.
Second item purchases from the special collection: The summer promotion takes 30% off your second item when you buy any item and choose a second piece from the special collection. On a $100 second item from the collection, the 30% discount reduces it to $70, saving $30. This works alongside regular prices and is worth using if you are adding multiple items to your order and one of them qualifies.
Combining offers on your basket: The outlet sale applies to specific qualifying products at a fixed marked price, the summer 30% off second item applies only to that second purchase from the special collection, and free shipping applies when you clear $199. These operate on different products and thresholds, so compare the final total for your exact items. If you are buying a $300 outlet item and adding a second item from the special collection, calculate the outlet price plus the 30% off second item, then check whether your total clears $199 for free shipping, and pick the combination that leaves you paying least.
Our records show that in the 12 months to October 2026, the biggest sale at Mustang Survival was up to 60% off, which matches what is on offer now. The site has seen 16 listed offers in that period, with percentage codes appearing rarely; our team tested 1 offer at checkout in that window.
