What is the payment method?
SugarSync accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.
What is the shared folder plan?
When a SugarSync subscriber shares a folder privately with others who do not have a SugarSync account, those recipients are guided through a simple flow where they can sign up for SugarSync’s Shared Folder Plan.
The Shared Folder Plan is completely free. With the Shared Folder Plan, users can access folders shared with them via the SugarSync Desktop, Mobile, and Web applications. For shared folders where the owner has enabled Add-Edit permissions, users can upload and edit files in these folders as well as sync these folders to their own computers to enable real-time collaboration. To maintain access to the Shared Folder Plan, they request that users log in their account once every 90 days.
Users can also sync a shared folder to their computer by installing the SugarSync application on their desktop.
Do you store multiple versions of a file?
Yes, SugarSync automatically stores past versions of every file. You have access to the current file, plus the last 5 versions of the file. This is useful when collaborating with others - if someone makes a mistake, it’s very easy to revert to a previous version of a file.
What’s the difference between a Personal Plan and a Business Plan?
Personal Plans are designed for individuals to take control of their own online backup. Easily sync your own data and share it with friends and family. Business accounts allow teams and companies to have multiple users per account. Administrators have additional features that allow them to allocate storage, remote wipe other devices, and more.
