Yes, when you submit your return electronically, choose "Mailed Check" rather than "Direct Deposit" so that the IRS can send your refund to you through the postal service.

You can choose one of the following options to receive your refund:

• Direct Deposit
• Mailed Check
• Debit Card
• File & Go/Bank Refund Transfer

The 1040-X, once created in your account, can be printed out by taking the following steps:

• Select Federal Section
• Select 20XX Amended Return
• Select Print Amended Return
• Select Print your 20XX Tax Return Any supporting documentation that you include needs to be attached to the back of the return. Additionally, supporting documents need to be included in the same order as the forms or schedules they coincide with.

When mailing your federal amended return, you will need to send the following:

• 1040-X
• Income documents such as W-2s and 1099 forms if they support the changes on the return
• Any forms that have a calculation change from the original return
