Scenario 3: larger basket over $155. If you forgo the code and pick up non sale items that qualify for free shipping, you could have shipping costs eliminated on orders over $155. But if you use the 5% off voucher above, you would take 5% off the entire order and lose the free shipping benefit since the code cannot be combined with other offers. For example, a $160 order would ship free without the code, whereas with the code you’d pay $152 plus standard shipping unless shipping terms vary by item.
Scenario 4: buying from a sale. If most or all items in your basket are part of the site wide sale, you can benefit from the Up to 58% Off Gear And Apparel sale, applicable to selected items only. This offer is not combinable with the 5% off code, so you should pick the path that yields the lower total for the items you actually buy. The sale discount applies to eligible items only and has a time limit.
