Trident's 30% off Lamson Guru and Force II fly reels is the headline sale, and it's the best choice if you're shopping for those premium reels. However, Trident has several other sales running, each tailored to different gear categories, plus a Labor Day promotion with significantly steeper discounts on fly rods, reels, and lines. Your best offer depends on what you're buying and how much you're spending.
Shopping for fly reels: The 30% off Lamson Guru and Force II fly reels is a strong starting point for that specific equipment. However, check whether the reels you want fall under the Labor Day sale items—if they do, you could save up to 55% instead, which would give you a much larger discount on the same purchase.
Buying fly rods, fly lines, or fly fishing tackle: The Labor Day sale offering up to 55% off fly rods, reels, and lines is your best option here and runs through September 8. This beats the Lamson reel offer and any other sale on the page for these categories. Note that this sale cannot be combined with other offers.
Looking for diving or watersports gear: The premium gear sale gives you up to 30% off diving and watersports equipment as marked. This is separate from the fly fishing promotions and is your best bet in this category.
Buying Korkers Boots: The dedicated 15% off Korkers Boots sale applies here if you're focused on footwear from that brand.
Purchasing Peacock Bass Flies: A 10% discount is available on these specific flies while stock lasts, making this the offer to use if Peacock Bass Flies are your target.
Orders under $49: If you're spending less than $49, you'll miss out on free shipping, so factor the shipping cost into your total. Once you reach $49, free shipping kicks in and effectively adds value to your purchase without reducing prices further.
Only one sale offer applies at checkout, so compare your basket against each available promotion and choose whichever delivers the larger discount. The Labor Day sale's 55% cap is hard to beat on eligible fly fishing gear, but the Lamson reel promotion, Korkers boots discount, and category-specific sales may offer better value depending on exactly what you're ordering.
