Many games require syncing a tracker, however, so be sure to check the verification type before joining. For games that require syncing a fitness tracker, walks and runs on treadmills may still work. You’ll need to check that you’re using a supported tracker and that it has an indoor run or treadmill setting. Devices that track only outdoor runs will not work on a treadmill. In order to track a treadmill run, your device must be able to capture distance, duration, pace, and heart rate data for the activity. These are generally wearable trackers like the Apple Watch, Fitbit, and Garmin.

How do I cancel my membership?

You can receive a refund for that game (no questions asked) within 3 days of the game’s start date (some games have longer refund periods; refer to your game page for details). If you joined a game after it was in progress, the refund period is still calculated from the date the game started, not the date you joined. Special exceptions may be made after the refund period for verified medical reasons. Send them an email with documentation of your situation, and they’ll consider refunds on a case-by-case basis. To keep things fair for winning players, no refunds will be made after the game ends. No exceptions.
