Why is my Basepaws discount code not working?

There are several reasons why your Basepaws code might not be working:

• The Basepaws code you are using might have expired.
• You might be applying the Basepaws code to certain items that do not accept discount codes, like sale items.
• You have already used this same code when shopping before at Basepaws.
• You have not spent the minimum amount of money. Sometimes in order to apply a Basepaws code, you have to spend a certain amount of money, and that might be the case why the code is not working.

Vets can be pretty expensive, so Basepaws has designed an affordable way for you to have your cat's health tested with their testing kits.

See what Basepaws customers are saying about their kits.

• I was waiting for a cat DNA test for a while. There are so many dog tests out there but nothing for kitties. The test is easy to use, a simple cheek swab. The results were ready in about 6 weeks and gave breed info as well as health marker information. I find the report to be thorough and user friendly. I absolutely recommend this product! - LUCY
• I had 2 of my cats tested, and I'm glad I did. It was not so much for what Breed they are, but for the peace of mind with the health markers. One of my cats is a carrier of something I never heard of, so I have passed this on to my vet. My other cat's health markers are clear. Also, they have updates on your pet's report as time goes by. - HELEN
• Mousecop's results showed a confident match to Ragdoll, Maine Coon and Savannah cat. When I read the traits of these cats it was Mousecop spot on. I was also surprised at the amount of health markers that were tested and that he was only a carrier of Retinal Degeneration! - ASHLEY

Shopping for pet DNA tests at Basepaws? The main offer to consider is 50% Off When You Buy 2 or More Tests, which offers the biggest percentage saving for those looking to purchase multiple tests. This deal is ideal if you have more than one pet or wish to test a single pet for both breed and health markers.

For specific shopping situations, you have several ways to save:

• If you are buying two or more tests: Use the 50% Off When You Buy 2 or More Tests deal. This gives you half off your purchase total. For example, if you buy two cat DNA tests, each priced at $169.99, your original total would be $339.98. With this offer, you would save $169.99, making your final price $169.99 for both tests. While there is also a 45% off offer for two or more tests, the 50% off deal provides a bigger saving and is the better choice. Similarly, if you are looking to buy two Breed + Health Cat DNA Tests, the 50% off offer is more beneficial than the specific 40% off deal for two cat tests.

• If you are buying a single Breed + Health Dog DNA Test: Take advantage of the 44% Off Breed + Health Dog Dna Test. For instance, if a Breed + Health Dog DNA Test is $129.99, this offer saves you $57.19, bringing your total to $72.80. This is a good option if you only need one dog test.

• If you are buying a single Breed + Health Cat DNA Test: You have two main options: 35% Off Selected Breed + Health Cat DNA Test or $50 Off Breed + Health Cat Dna Test. To decide which is better, consider the original price of the specific test you want. If the test is priced above $142.86, the 35% off deal will save you more money. If the test is priced below $142.86, the $50 off deal will give you a bigger discount. For example, on a selected Breed + Health Cat DNA Test priced at $169.99, the 35% off deal saves you $59.50, bringing the price to $110.49. The $50 off deal on the same test would save you $50, making the final price $119.99.

Looking at our records for Love Coupons, in the 12 months to October 2026, we listed 24 offers for Basepaws, comprising 21 sales and deals and 3 codes. The biggest percentage code recorded in that period was 69% off in May 2026, while the biggest percentage sale or deal was up to 50% off in November 2025. Our team tested 3 Basepaws offers at checkout in the 12 months to October 2026.

When choosing, review your cart and select the offer that provides the biggest saving for your specific purchase. As the terms do not state otherwise, you generally cannot combine these percentage or fixed amount discounts. Pick the single offer that leaves you with the lowest total.
