ClickInks.com is currently showing a 20% off printer ink and toner cartridges promo as the lead offer, available via the promo code at the top of this page and best for shoppers buying multiple compatible cartridges who want a straightforward percentage off. The 20% code excludes OEM products, so it is most useful when your cart is made up of compatible or non OEM cartridges.
Small one or two item buys under $10: If you are buying a single very low price item, like an inkjet cartridge listed from $0.99 or a single cheap compatible cartridge, use the 20% off promo on compatible items because it reduces the price across the cart. For example, on a $5 cartridge, the code takes 20% off, reducing the price to $4.00, a $1.00 saving (original $5.00, percent 20%, final $4.00, saving $1.00).
Buying four cartridges or more of the same product: The Buy 3 Products Get 1 Free code usually gives the biggest saving when you plan to buy four items of similar unit price, because you only pay for three items. For example, four cartridges at $15 each cost $60. With buy 3 get 1 free you pay $45 (fixed discount equal to one unit), versus the 20% code which makes the total $48 (original $60, percent 20%, final $48, saving $12). In that case the buy 3 get 1 free saves $3 more.
Buying a large multipack or higher value single item: For branded compatible multipacks such as the Epson 220XL offer priced at $91.45, the 20% code will often beat a fixed shelf price because it reduces the multipack price across the whole item. Example: the compatible multipack at $91.45 with 20% off becomes $73.16 (original $91.45, percent 20%, final $73.16, saving $18.29). If that multipack is the product you want, the code saves more than paying the $91.45 listed price.
When buying marked down or selected sale items: The site sale items can be up to 86% off on selected products or up to 35% off in clearance. If a specific cartridge is already in the up to 86% off range, that sale price can beat the 20% code because the sale discount is applied to that product before any code. Use the already reduced sale price on those selected items rather than the 20% code when the sale price is lower.
Shipping threshold and first time promos: If your order will reach $50 or more, you qualify for free 3-day shipping. Bear in mind the shipping threshold is stated as a $50 minimum order; whether that is measured before or after a code is applied is not stated by ClickInks.com. The newsletter signup is useful only for first time or future promotional emails and is not the primary offer here.
To choose between these offers, total your cart at full price, then compare two totals: apply the 20% discount to the whole eligible cart, and calculate any buy 3 get 1 free saving for the specific items. Take whichever option leaves you with the lower total. Do not combine the Buy 3 Get 1 Free code with other offers because its terms state it cannot be combined.
