Shipping time is determined by the day your box is shipped (when it leaves the warehouse, not when you place your order). The day that determines how long it will take to get to you. Read on to see how the shipping companies count.

Ground shipping takes 7 to 11 days depending on location and how far you are from Seattle. If shipped on Monday, your package will arrive the following Monday—unless you live in Seattle, then you will get it the next day. Be sure to check the zone map; some places are quick.

2 DAY AIR - arrives on the third day. If shipped on Monday, it will arrive on Wednesday.

NEXT DAY AIR - arrives on the second day. If shipped on Monday, it will arrive on Tuesday.

While every effort is made in packaging and correctly filling orders, occasionally a package is lost or damaged in transit, or an out-of-date product is shipped by mistake.

To ensure your order is received complete and undamaged, and the product is within the sell-by date, we recommend the following:

• Inspect the entire shipment for visible damage prior to accepting the shipment, and note any damage on the delivery ticket before the delivery person leaves.

• Verify the number of packages delivered with the label on the outside of the box.

• Unpack your order as soon as possible, and inspect for hidden or concealed damage and sell-by dates.

• Should any damage be discovered, retain the shipping cartons and any inner packaging, in case we need the carrier to inspect the packaging.

Then contact their Customer Service toll-free at 1-800-596-0885 to let them know. Please have your order number, shipping information and tracking number ready to assist them in this process. Please call them before returning any product.

ChefShop will pay for return shipping for an item that was sent to you in error, received defective or damaged, or shipped beyond its sell-by date.

You may return any regularly stocked item within 20 days of receiving your order for a full refund or exchange if it is in its original packaging. Special orders may be returned within 10 days of receipt, but are subject to a 50% restocking charge. No items that have been used or opened may be returned. Unfortunately, the opened product is not considered safe and should not be returned.

The cost of shipping the original item or the return shipment, and the cost of shipping the exchanged item are the responsibility of the customer unless ChefShop committed a shipping or order error. Round-trip shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer on orders that are shipped by ChefShop in good faith and are returned to them due to incorrect shipping information provided to them by the customers.

No item can be returned without prior authorization. Items returned to ChefShop without prior authorization will not be processed. To request an authorization, please call their Customer Service at 800-596-0885.
