Colorescience has a 10% off code available for orders over $50, and it is the best starting point for most shoppers. The brand also runs regular sales with up to 30% off selected products, and offers subscription savings of up to 15% for repeat customers. Your choice depends on your basket size and whether you are buying from the sale or committing to a subscription.

Small orders under $50. If you are spending less than $50, the 10% off code for orders over $50 will not work for you. Your next option is the straightforward 10% off code with no minimum spend, which gives the same percentage discount with no threshold. Use whichever works best at your basket size.

Orders $50 and above. The 10% off code for orders over $50 is your best choice for a regular purchase. On a $100 order, for example, this code saves you $10, bringing your total to $90. If you are not using a code and have decided to shop the sale instead, check whether the products you want are included in the up to 30% off selection. On a $100 sale order where your items are discounted by 30%, you would pay $70, a saving of $30, which beats the 10% code. However, remember that the sale applies only to selected products, so compare the actual price of what you are buying rather than assuming the top discount applies.

Shopping from the sale. The up to 30% off sale is available on selected products only, and these items may not be eligible for any code. Verify the discount shown on each product page, since the sale markdown varies. If your sale items are discounted by less than 10%, they are still worth buying at the sale price if you want them, but if a regular product qualifies for the 10% off code and is cheaper, choose that instead.

Subscription and repeat purchases. If you plan to reorder regularly, signing up for a subscription gives you up to 15% off your order. This beats the 10% off code on every purchase, and subscription savings stack with your future orders. For your third purchase and beyond, you also become eligible for a free gift when you buy at least 3 products in a single order. Evaluate whether the subscription is worth it based on how often you shop; if you only buy once, stick with a code.

Choosing between your options. Work out your final price with both the 10% off code and any other offer that applies to your basket, then pick the one that leaves you spending less. The 10% off code for orders over $50 and the 10% off code with no minimum cannot be combined, so use only one. If you are a subscription member and the sale is running, compare the subscription discount on the regular price against the sale markdown to see which saves more for the specific products you want.
