How should I gift keys to someone else?
You can gift keys to whoever you like, but without a built-in gifting option you are best to order the keys in your name and then send the keys to the person that you would like to receive the games. Take care to check if you’re gifting a region restricted game. If you purchase a game for the region you live in but want to gift this restricted to a region you will receive a copy appropriate to the region you’re connecting from - check that whoever you are sending the key to is in a region for which the key you received is also appropriate.
I haven’t received my email confirmation email?
Fanatical system sends these immediately after creating an account so you will receive them after a few minutes. If you still haven’t received them after this time and they aren’t in your “spam” folder then you might have created an account using the wrong email address - check the email address by going to ‘Your Account, Your Profile’.
Can I get a refund?
This depends if the key has been revealed or not, or if the keys were purchased more than 14 days ago. If the product you require a refund for is a bundle then all keys in the bundle must be un-revealed.
Do I have a time limit for redeeming a key?
Almost all the keys you purchase from fanatical.com are not time-limited and can be activated in the future - so long as the publisher doesn’t remove the game from the platform through which they are redeemed. On the rare occasions when a key does need to be activated within a specific period of time or by a certain date we will clearly indicate that within the game’s description on our store page. It is important to note that once you purchase your keys then they are your responsibility and should be kept secret. If another person obtains your key and adds it to their gamer account then the key cannot be used again.
Please note though that the longer you leave a key without activating it the less likely it will be that a replacement is possible should the key be defective - replacements may not be available for keys delivered more than 60 days ago. Therefore Fanatical recommend that you do not share your key and apply it to your gamer account as soon as possible to ensure that it is locked to you. Always ensure that your fanatical.com account password is secure - it should be unique to fanatical.com so that leaks from other sites don’t compromise your fanatical.com account) and sufficiently complex to not be easily guessed.
How do I delete store credit/debit card details?
Fanatical website uses the Adyen payment processing system to provide Checkout functions. As part of that process, Adyen offers the option to store some of your credit/debit card details, so that you can subsequently checkout more easily - your CVV number is NOT stored and will be requested each time you reuse your card’s other saved details. You do NOT have to save your card’s details - the choice to do so is yours. Having chosen to save your card’s details, if you subsequently want to delete those saved details simply click the “Remove this card” icon (see below) on the payment method selection screen during the checkout process
