The 20% off Halloween sale code at Nickel Designs Doormats is the lead offer on this page, taking 20% off doormats and layering rugs and best for shoppers buying full price seasonal mats or multiple items from those ranges. There are two running sales too, up to 75% off sale items and up to 85% off selected home and garden products, which can beat the code when the specific product you want is in those sale sections.
If you are buying high ticket sale items or a single marked down piece: Check whether the doormat or home product you want is in the up to 85% off selection. That reduction applies directly to the marked price on selected products, so a single item already reduced by 85% will usually be far cheaper than applying the 20% promo code, which does not apply to sale exclusions. Use the 85% off price for the selected product.
If you are buying sale items from the 75% off range: The up to 75% off sale note explicitly says the offer cannot be combined with other promotions. If your item sits in that sale, you must take the sale price; you cannot also use the 20% promo code on those sale items.
If you are buying full price doormats or layering rugs, one item: Apply the 20% off Halloween promo code. For example, on a $60 doormat the code takes 20% off, which reduces the price to $48 and saves you $12.
If you are buying multiple full price doormats or layering rugs: The 20% promo code applies across those qualifying items. On a $120 order made up of two full price rugs, the code takes 20% off, bringing the total to $96 and saving you $24, so the code is the better choice versus any non applicable sale price.
If your cart mixes sale and non sale items: Sale prices on marked items remain their sale price; the 75% sale says it cannot be combined with other promotions, so if those items are in that sale you cannot also use the code on them. The Halloween code applies to qualifying full price doormats and layering rugs in your cart; compare the final totals at checkout to see which leaves you paying less.
Our records show Nickel Designs Doormats ran 10 percentage codes in the 12 months to October 2026, with the biggest code in that period at 20% and a typical code around 15%. We also list up to 85% off as the biggest sale seen in the same window, and our team ran 10 checkout tests across offers in that year.
To choose between the 20% code and the sales, calculate the final total under each option and take whichever leaves the lower payment. Note the 75% sale cannot be combined with other promotions; otherwise, apply the single discount that gives the lowest final price.
