They recommend washing the blade by hand with warm soapy water immediately after use. You can use a brush to reach hard to reach areas. The cups and accessories are top-shelf dishwashers safe. The motor base should be unplugged and wiped clean with a warm soapy cloth. They do not recommend washing the blade or motor base in the dishwasher. See product care videos here.
