Cuisinart currently has a 10% off storewide promo via the featured promo code at the top of this page, which is best if you want a straightforward discount on regular priced items and are buying lower to mid value kitchen gear. The same code cannot be combined with any other offer, so it is a simple single discount to apply at checkout.
Under $35: use the featured 10% off promo code. For small orders the code cuts the total directly and there is no competing threshold to hit. For example, on a $30 order the 10% code takes $3 off, leaving $27 (the featured 10% off promo code applies).
$35 or more: you qualify for free shipping on orders over $35, but that free shipping cannot be combined with other promotions. If you expect your shipping charge would be more than the 10% you would save with the code, choose free shipping instead; if shipping would be less than 10% of your cart value, use the 10% code. The free shipping offer is the free shipping on order over $35 promotion.
Buying sale items: use the sale prices on the sale product pages. Sale discounts apply only to sale products and can be much larger than 10% (the site lists up to 74% off on sale items). Because the featured code cannot be combined with other offers, you cannot add the 10% code on top of sale prices unless the site terms say otherwise. For sale items, the sale price will normally give a bigger saving than the 10% code.
Mix of sale and full price items: the 10% code applies to storewide items but not on top of sale item markdowns when the site disallows combining promotions. If your cart is mostly sale items, rely on the sale pricing. If most of your cart is full price, the 10% code will usually save more.
