Their meals should be stored in the freezer long-term, up to 1 year, and can be thawed in the refrigerator. Once they are thawed in the fridge, you should use them within 5 days. Their treats and supplemental cookies do not need to be kept in the fridge or the freezer. Please store them in a cool, dry place, like your pantry or kitchen counter.
Keep in mind that it can take anywhere from 7 to 14 days for some dogs to transition to a new meal plan. Be sure to follow all of the recommended feeding guidelines included in your first box and on the back of your containers.
PetPlate is a human-grade, fresh food, so the meals must be refrigerated or frozen. Your containers will arrive frozen and you can allow them to defrost in the fridge or defrost them in the microwave for around 10 - 20 seconds. Once a container is defrosted, it should be kept in the fridge and used within 5 days.
