THeir standard package includes a year’s worth of story prompts for one storyteller, unlimited recipients (people with whom the storyteller’s stories are shared), and one hardcover book with a black & white interior (and a full-color cover).
You can order additional books at the end of the subscription year. The pricing for additional copies of your book is as follows:
If you are ordering a large number of books, they recommend ordering one copy first. That way, you are able to see the book in person, and can make any necessary corrections on their website before ordering the rest.
The books are 6ⅹ9 inches, similar to a book you might find in a bookstore. The font is Merriweather, size 10. They currently don’t support font formatting of any kind – no italics, bold, or underline. The books can include photos; by default, these are printed in black and white but colour printing is available at an additional cost.
They have several professionally designed cover styles to choose from. All covers can be customized with a photo and a title, and some cover styles allow for different colors.
You can choose your storyteller’s questions from our library, edit their questions, or even write your own, so you have full flexibility with the topics your storyteller can write about.
If you’d prefer not to choose questions, your storyteller will receive questions randomly from their library by default. You can view sample questions here: welcome.storyworth.com/questions.
Each question email contains a link to change your question if you’re not inspired by that week’s topic. Just click that link, and you’ll be taken to their question library, where you can choose a new question or write your own.
Each subscription covers 1 storyteller and 1 book, but if you purchase multiple subscriptions for multiple storytellers, you can include all their stories in the same book at the time of printing. (You’d then receive multiple copies of that book for your family to save.)
To combine multiple storytellers into one book, please reach out to them at hello@storyworth.com after the storytellers have finished writing their stories, and they'll create the combined book for you.
If for any reason you’re not thrilled with your Storyworth purchase, they offer full refunds within 30 days, as long as no books have been printed. Printed books can not be returned or exchanged.
