The Perfect Rug is showing an up to 65% off outlet sale with a promo code at the top of this page, and that code is best for shoppers after big reductions on selected outlet pieces. The code applies to selected outlet products only, so it is most useful if the rug you want is included in the outlet selection. If you are shopping for a custom area rug, the sitewide 20% off deal for custom area rugs is the clear alternative for made to order purchases.
If you plan a small purchase, under $100. You will usually save more by picking an outlet or sale item already reduced and then using the up to 65% off outlet code at the top of this page if it applies to that specific item, because the code takes extra off selected outlet products. If the rug you want is a marked sale item but not in the outlet selection that accepts the code, use the 10% off sale items promo code instead for a guaranteed extra 10% on sale pricing.
If your cart is $100 to $500. Check whether the item is a custom area rug or a sale outlet piece. For custom area rugs, the 20% off sitewide custom rug offer saves you more than the 10% sale code or the spring 15% sitewide deal. For outlet rugs eligible for the up to 65% off code, that code will usually beat the extra 20% off outlet sale or the up to 45% outlet sale, but only if the specific outlet item is part of the code promotion.
If your order is over $500. For a large custom rug order, the 20% off sitewide custom rug deal is the simplest way to cut a big total. For multiple outlet pieces, the up to 65% off outlet code can give the biggest reduction on eligible items; compare the final prices on the items that accept the code against the sale prices that are already reduced by up to 60% or up to 45%.
Buying a named deal at a per square foot price. The Tillary, Ginger Island and Mojave per square foot deals are fixed-price product deals and their terms say they cannot be used with any other offers, so you must choose either the per square foot price or a code/sale on other rugs, not both.
Our records show that percentage codes for The Perfect Rug in the 12 months to October 2026 included a 65% off code (the biggest) and that a 20% off code was typical; our team ran 8 checkout tests across 8 offers in the 12 months to October 2026. That history means large percentage codes do appear, but the 65% code at the top of this page is already the biggest recent code listed here.
When choosing, compare the same item price side by side: apply the outlet code first if the item is eligible, otherwise use the sale item promo code or the sitewide custom rug deal when it covers your purchase. Take whichever route leaves the lower total. Where an offer explicitly says it cannot be used with others, assume you must pick that single offer.
Here are some great tips & tricks for extra savings at The Perfect Rug:
The Perfect Rug accepts VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal for your convenience.
The Perfect Rug ships to the USA and Canada only.
Your ship confirmation email will contain a tracking number link, that will allow you to check the status of your package.
The Perfect Rug will ship most rugs within 10-15 business days. In some cases, if the product is back-ordered, it may take longer but you will be notified of the shipping date. Shipping will add 3-10 business days to the receipt of your rug. If your rug is larger than 9’ in both directions, it will be shipped via LTL freight. If White Glove Services have been added, please allow an additional 1-2 days for their freight company to hand the rug(s) off to your local agent.
The Perfect Rug strongly encourages all of their customers to sample as many materials as needed (the first three samples are free) to be sure they are getting what they’d expected. Since these rugs are cut to order and put together by hand, they do not accept returns or exchanges.
The Perfect Rug will orient the pattern or stripes to make the most efficient use of the material. If you want your rug pattern to run in a particular direction, please indicate in your order. If your pattern direction request results in additional material needed to complete your order, you will be contacted by customer service to authorize any additional charges prior to making the rug.
Serging is their recommended choice for most rugs. The Perfect Rug use either wool or acrylic thread, depending on the rug material and stitch the border. They can either match the primary colour of the rug material or you can choose from over 100 thread colours to personalize your rug. Canvas borders are typically used with natural fibres like seagrass or sisal and add a colour accent to your rug. They use 100% cotton canvas, applied with a " blind stitch" (meaning you will not see the stitching on the face of the border). You will see 1 1/2 inches of fabric on the face of your rug. They can either match the primary colour of your rug or you can choose from their colour assortment to personalize your rug.
