Invoices for filing fees may include a 5% processing fee. The processing fee covers costs we incur in disbursing government filing fees on your behalf. These costs commonly include government charges for online filings, postage fees for paper filings, bank charges for certified checks, and more.

If you wish to cancel your registered agent service, you will need to file with the secretary of state to change your registered agent and forward proof of the change to them.

Here's how to cancel your registered agent service:

Once your registered agent has been changed, please email proof of the change to info@harborcompliance.com.

Harbor Compliance will not be able to cancel your registered agent service until you have completed these steps. As long as they are listed as your registered agent, they are responsible for receiving your legal documents and are committed to doing so.

Please note that you must complete these steps before your subscription renewal date. After that date, your invoice will remain due for that subscription year. Harbor Compliance notify you 90 days prior to your subscription renewal date to give you plenty of time to complete these steps.

Once you have completed these steps, they will cancel your service going forward.

Harbor Compliance will notify you by email when information is needed. You will receive an email with a link to access the Information Form. If they don’t receive the information they need, they will automatically send three reminder emails to you. You can also find if you need to submit information by reviewing the Project Status screen. Projects that require your attention are highlighted so that you can take action. You can also proactively review your Information Form at any time and make necessary changes.

Harbor Compliance will save your information for future use. Instead of asking for the information more than once, your information will be stored and used for all of your annual report filings. Certain states, however, require additional information that must be submitted every year, so we will ask for that information annually. Rest assured that our technology has streamlined their requests to the absolute minimum and they will only request information from you when it is necessary.

While their desire is to streamline your experience, they remain committed to submitting your filings using accurate information. To that end, they will periodically prompt you to review your information. Harbor Compliance will send you an email every 180 days requesting that you log in and review. If anything changes throughout the year, you can access your Information Form at any time to make updates.

This feature is currently only available for Managed Annual Report Service. Harbor Compliance will be releasing this functionality for other services soon. In the meantime, they will continue to request information by PDF forms. Harbor Compliance will let you know when they have updates.
