ThinkSun has a 25% off everything promo as the featured offer, delivered via the promo code at the top of this page; that code is best if you want a solid percent off across site categories and on larger carts. Other active deals include 20% off your first sunscreen order, up to 10% off suncare bundles, and a newsletter 20% off signup that is sent by email and cannot be combined with other promotional codes. Use the featured promo code when you want one simple discount that applies sitewide.
Small cart under $50. If your cart totals $40, the featured 25% off promo code takes 25% off everything, reducing $40 to $30, so you save $10 with the code. The first sunscreen 20% off and the newsletter 20% off give smaller savings on the same $40 order (20% saves $8), so the 25% code is the winner for small non restricted purchases.
Typical sunscreen or first purchase. If this is your first sunscreen order and the items are eligible for the 20% first order discount, note the first order deal applies only to selected products. On a $60 eligible sunscreen order, the 25% promo code takes $15 off (final $45); the first order 20% takes $12 off (final $48), so the featured code still leaves you with the lower total unless the sunscreen item is excluded from the sitewide code.
Suncare bundle purchases. Bundles show up to 10% off as marked. If a bundle is marked at $80 with the 10% bundle reduction applied, the bundle price becomes $72. The 25% everything code, when it applies to the same bundle, reduces the original $80 to $60, saving $20, so the featured promo code usually beats the bundle discount unless the bundle price already includes a higher marked reduction.
New customer who will sign up for newsletter. The newsletter signup promise of 20% off is sent by email and requires an account sign in; its terms say it cannot be combined with other promotional codes. If you must use that newsletter code, compare the 20% final to what the sitewide 25% code gives on the same basket and choose the lower total. For example, $100 with the newsletter gives $80, while the featured code gives $75.
When choosing between offers, work out the final cart total for each applicable discount and take whichever leaves the lower total. The newsletter 20% cannot be combined with other promotional codes, so you must pick either the newsletter reduction or the sitewide promo code; other deals are applied as marked and will only beat the sitewide code when their marked price reduction is greater than 25% on the same items.
