APMEX ships within countries provided during checkout.
Orders shipped after business hours, or on weekends, are not received by the carrier until the following business day. Once received, it may take 1-2 business days for your tracking number to become active. To set notifications via text or email, click the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email and follow the instructions. Delivery dates are not guaranteed and could be missed due to weather, grounded flights, or other unforeseen delays.
Can I cancel my order? The market changed and I want the new lower price.
You can, however, your order is a binding contract with APMEX to purchase your metals at the locked-in prices. By cancelling the order, you are subject to a $35 cancellation fee and are responsible for any market loss. For more information, please see their Market Loss Policy.
They guarantee your satisfaction at APMEX. They provide all their customers with a refund, return and/or exchange policy on everything we sell including all bullion and certified coins. This right is limited to seven (7) days from the date on which the customer receives their items. The refund, return and/or exchange policy only applies to customers who notify their customer service department by live chat, email at service@apmex.com, or by telephone at (800) 375-9006 during normal business hours within seven (7) days from the date on which the customer receives their item and keeps the item in its original packaging. The customer service department will give you instructions on how to return your items and, at that time, you will be given a return authorization number. All bitcoin or bitcoin cash refunds are issued through BitPay at the USD rate at the time the refund is processed. APMEX is not responsible for any change in the bitcoin exchange rate at the time of refund. Refunds for returns are not processed until after the returned item(s) have been received and verified.

APMEX runs a $10 off code for first time customers spending over $500, along with a variety of percentage and fixed discounts on specific products and categories. The $10 code works best for qualifying first orders, but the fall sale and other product specific deals may save you more depending on what you're buying and how much you're spending.
Spending under $500 on regular priced items. If you're a first time customer buying regular priced products below the $500 threshold, check the newsletter signup at the bottom of this page for special offers and promotions. The $10 code requires $500, so it won't apply to smaller baskets.
Spending $500 or more on regular priced items. New customers can use the $10 off code at checkout when their order reaches $500, giving a small discount on top of the catalog price. This code is only available on your first order.
Buying from the fall sale. The fall sale takes up to 75% off gold, silver and rare coins through 4 October 2026. This is substantially more than the $10 code, so if eligible items are on sale, compare the sale price to the regular priced offer. On a $600 regular order, for example, the code saves $10 to leave $590, but a $600 item marked down 75% in the fall sale would cost just $150, a saving of $450.
Buying specific featured items. APMEX discounts individual products throughout the year. A 40% discount applies to the Canada 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf, 25% off the 90% Silver Mercury Dime 50 Coin Roll, 78% off the Premium 10 oz Silver Bar from the secondary market, and various other coins and bars at fixed prices like Britannias at $3.99 per coin or Platinum Bars at $84.77. When you find an item you want, check if it has its own discount, as these often beat the percentage off code.
Combining offers. Some product discounts explicitly cannot be combined with other offers. Confirm the terms on the item page before adding to your cart. The $10 code and the sale discounts are separate promotions, so you cannot stack them.
When choosing between the $10 code and a sale or item discount, calculate both and use whichever leaves you paying less. The code gives a flat $10 off a $500+ basket, while sale markdowns and product specific reductions apply their percentage or fixed amount to the individual items you're buying.
