Each Balodana designer merchant is responsible for their individual shipping, and you’ll receive an estimate and shipping confirmation for each order. Balodana encourage merchants to prepare items and have them shipped so that you receive your purchases within two weeks from your order date, but more elaborate or heavily customized orders may take longer. Shipping costs will vary from merchant to merchant and are shown in your shopping cart checkout and receipt.

Garments may take 1-3 weeks for creation and shipping, depending on the complexity of the garment. Please remember: this is not fast fashion, it’s completely made-to-measure and made-to-order, meaning that a brand new article of clothing is created from scratch exactly to fit you. It didn’t exist in a warehouse somewhere before you ordered it. This is ultimately better for you and the environment as it reduces waste while giving you perfectly fitted custom clothing.

Please ensure they have the right measurements for you. Balodana guarantee that your purchases will fit the measurements you provided to them in your shopping cart checkout or in your stored Balodana personal profile. Balodana know that it’s possible your garment may still need additional alterations for fine-tuning, so they offer reimbursement of local alterations, up to 25% of the original garment price. Balodana'll even help you get set up with a quality local tailor if you don’t already have one.

Each item you order did not exist before you ordered it - it’s uniquely yours and made to your body’s custom measurements. Therefore, they do not offer traditional “returns” on your purchases, but your happiness is their goal which is why they made their Customer Happiness Guarantee. If an item cannot be altered to fit, they will work with their designers to find a resolution.

Putting aside the environmental impacts of shipping boxes around the planet and dumping items in a landfill returns simply don’t make economic sense for them or their designers. A garment that was made uniquely for your body can’t be resold - it is “size YOU” and not a standard size. Balodana can keep their prices very affordable and still make you happy by enforcing this policy. Balodana have found that nearly any garment can be altered to fit, and it’s such a better outcome when you are partaking in the process and the final result.
