The main deal from Lively Root is the buy three products and get the fourth product free promotion, which applies site wide across plants and home and garden items and is best when you plan to buy four or more items in the same order. The offer is website only and gives the free item when you buy four products; it is the lead deal on the page and the one to try first for multi item orders.
Buying a single item: If you only want one plant or one accessory, none of the multi item promotions applies. Sign up to the newsletter for special offers and promotions if you want first looks or future coupons; the newsletter is a signup only offer and does not replace the buy three get one free promotion. No price example applies because there is no site wide single item discount listed.
Buying two items: The buy one get the second at 50% off is the best fit. It applies when you buy two products from the plants and pets and accessories ranges on the site. For example, on a $30 plant plus a $30 plant, the second is 50% off: original $60, discounts 50% off on the second (effectively $15), final price $45, you save $15. This sale requires two items in the same order and is website only.
Buying three items: You do not yet trigger the buy three get fourth free offer, so compare continuing with the two item 50% off pattern or add a fourth item. With three items the 50% off deal will reduce one item if the checkout applies the same second item rule, but the buy three get one free becomes relevant only if you add a fourth item.
Buying four items or more: The buy three get the fourth free usually saves more when your fourth item is equal to or higher priced than the cheapest of the four. For example, four identical $30 items: original $120, discounts buy three get fourth free (one $30 off), final price $90, you save $30. That beats using the two for 50% off rule because the 50% pattern on pairs would save only $30 across two pairs only if applied twice; on four identical items the buy three get one free gives the same dollar saving as two 50% off seconds when item prices are identical, but buy three get one free is simpler when a fourth item is free while the 50% off applies only to the second item in a pair.
Buying mixed priced items: If your fourth item is cheaper than one of the others, calculate both routes. The buy three get one free removes the cost of the fourth item; the two for 50% off removes half the price of each second item. Take whichever leaves the lower total. Both offers are website only.
Subscriptions: If you are buying a plant subscription, use the up to 24% off subscription plans. That saving applies to recurring subscription fees rather than one off product orders, and is the only offer that applies to billing plans; it does not combine with the buy three get one free or the two for 50% off product promotions.
Our records show 10 offers listed for Lively Root in the 12 months to October 2026 and the biggest percentage deal in that period was up to 50% off in November 2025, so the current 50% second item sale is one of the larger patterned discounts we have seen. Our team has no recorded coupon checks for Lively Root in the 12 months to October 2026.
Choose the deal that leaves the lower total for the same items. For four or more items, try the buy three get one free first; for two items use the buy one get second 50% off sale; for subscription purchases use the up to 24% off subscription plans. The newsletter signup is only a way to receive future offers and does not act as the page lead promotion.

To water your hanging plant, first remove it from your hanger and take it to the sink. Use water that is tepid in temperature. Use filtered, bottled, or tap water for 24 hours to release the chemicals and enough water to discharge out of the drainage holes (flush watering). Once the water is fully drained from the grower or internal pot, place it into the cache or decorative hanging pot.
Sometimes losing its leaves on the bottom is a natural occurrence as it cycles through its life, and then other leaves sprout and take over the photosynthesis. If it's not getting enough bright, indirect light, it may drop off, too. Other times, a sudden drop in the majority of the leaves can mean that the plant has undergone an environmental change, perhaps due to repotting or being placed in a new position in your home. Some plants don't like to be moved and protest by dropping their leaves. Wait several weeks, and during the growing season, water as needed and keep it on a regular fertilization routine. New leaves will sprout.
