The 20% off voucher at the top of this page is the lead offer for Motives Cosmetics, and it is best for first time customers who want a general discount across their cart. That promo applies to first orders on the website when you enter the code at checkout. If you do not qualify as a new customer, consider the site sales and product deals listed below.
Very small orders under $20: Use the 20% off voucher if this is your first order, because it takes a straight 20% off the full cart regardless of product. If you are not a first time buyer, none of the percentage sales strictly beat a flat low price on a single item, so buy the specific deal you need, for example the Mini Intensive Hand And Body Crème for $14 if that is the item you want.
Single product buys where a deal lists a fixed price: The $44 price for Lumière Vie The Elixir, the Lumière Rose Quartz Roller for $17.50 and the Mini Intensive Hand And Body Crème for $14 are best taken when you are buying those exact items. Those deals are fixed price and state they cannot be used with any other offers, so you cannot combine them with the first order voucher. If the product you want is one of these, pay the listed deal price.
Buying selected products on sale: The up to 17% off selected products sale is useful when the item you want is included and you are not eligible for the first order voucher. Because the sale is up to 17%, the 20% first order voucher usually gives a bigger percentage saving for first orders, but the sale applies to specified items without a code and may cover repeat customers.
Spending $125 or more: Free shipping on orders over $125 is available on the website. This shipping threshold may be affected by the final order total; the terms state the threshold and that offers cannot be used in conjunction with others in some cases. If your order reaches $125, factor the saved shipping cost into whether to use a product deal or the first order voucher when eligible.
Subscription and newsletter: If you plan to subscribe, the 10% off subscription applies to subscriber orders and is separate from the first order voucher. The newsletter signup offers promotional messages but is not a checkout discount. Use the subscription discount only if you want recurring orders and the items in your subscription qualify.
To choose, compare the actual totals: for a first order try the 20% off voucher; if the exact product you want appears as a fixed price deal, buy it at that price since those deals say they cannot be combined with others; use the sale or subscription discount when you are not eligible for the first order voucher or when those offers apply to the items in your cart.
