Most definitely. All local hosts are available to message online. Just hit the “contact” button underneath their profile and forward your questions or suggestions to them.
After you’ve confirmed your booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email from them. Your local host will forward you a message soon after with a custom link to your online experience together and some suggestions on how you can best prepare. Set up your computer, laptop or mobile device, check the speed of your internet, grab a drink and you’re all good to go.
It depends on the experience you book, but most of the time an online experience lasts between 1-2 hours.
You can find an overview of your booking details such as date, starting time, the number of guests, detailed meeting point with the city map, and the payment details in your Withlocals profile. To access them, you only need to be logged into the app or the Withlocals website.
All bookings on request need to be confirmed by the host within 48 hours. If you cancel an unconfirmed booking within 48 hours, you will receive a full refund.
Their refund policy was made to be transparent so your experience is as smooth as possible and gives you a fair go. However, you may doubt as you have not received the refund in your account yet. In some cases, you might want to check here if you are eligible for a refund.
