They intended to design a bag to make it easier for parents to organize, check, and reorganize their belongings. Less time spent being impatient and bogged down by things. And more time just spending time with their children. Nell started by sourcing materials herself to grasp the ins and outs of quality and design components.
Her studio is now packed with vegan leather samples, countless varieties of zippers, waterproof lining, and gorgeously patterned fabrics. When she and Steph decided to work together, they understood that every material used to create Kibou had to meet a few requirements: it had to be beautiful, good quality, non-toxic, and easy to clean.
