MR. BLACK has a tiered range of discounts that reward larger basket sizes, plus a fixed percentage code that works on any order. The 15% off code at the top of this page is the fastest way to save on a smaller order, while the automatic sale discounts grow more generous as you spend more.
Small baskets under $50. If you are spending less than $50, use the 15% off code. On a $40 order, for example, that code saves you $6, bringing your total to $34.
Orders from $50 to $75. The free shipping code becomes useful here if you would otherwise pay for delivery, but the 15% off code still gives you a straight percentage discount. On a $60 order, the 15% off code saves $9 (final total $51), while the free shipping code saves on the delivery charge only. Go with whichever saves more: if delivery was going to cost you $10 or more, use the free shipping code; otherwise stick with the 15% off code.
Orders from $75 to $125. You now qualify for the automatic 5% sale discount at checkout, which applies with no code needed. On a $100 order, that sale discount saves you $5. The 15% off code would save $15 on the same order, so the code is still your better choice here.
Orders from $125 to $200. The automatic 10% sale discount kicks in, saving you $12.50 on a $125 order. Compare this to the 15% off code, which would save you $18.75 on the same order. The code still comes out ahead.
Orders over $200. The automatic 15% sale discount now matches the code's saving. On a $200 order, both options save you $30. Either option gets you the same result; choose whichever is simplest at checkout.
When comparing the code to an automatic sale discount, work out the saving for your actual basket total and take whichever leaves you paying less. The code and the free shipping offer can be used together, but the code is the stronger option for percentage savings across almost all basket sizes. The gift sets and candles deals cannot be combined with other offers, so if you are shopping for one of those items, those standalone discounts will be your only option.
