On a small order under $30, use the $5 promo code. It is the simplest way to get an immediate saving on anything at Santic. The clearance sale will not help unless the items you want are marked down, which they may not be.
On a $30 to $80 order, compare the $5 code with the clearance sale. If you are buying full price items, the $5 code gives you a flat saving. If you are shopping the clearance section, work out the final price after the sale discount and see which total is lower.
