In Sudbury, Massachusetts, a 225-year-old farm produces all of Goodnow Farms chocolate. Starting with cacao beans and sugar, Goodnow Farms makes all the components of chocolate in-house, including the meticulous hand-wrapping of each bar. Additionally, they're one of the only chocolate producers who use freshly pressed, the single-origin cocoa butter in their products.
It takes a lot of effort and time to do this, but the end product is chocolate that is incredibly smooth and tasty. Goodnow Farms makes single-origin chocolate, which means they use beans from one farm or region to create each variety of bar. They do this because different cacao beans, much like wine grapes or coffee beans, have different flavours.
